The Geyerhof vineyards are located on the southern slopes of the Danube and are not only among the oldest but also the best sites in the region. The vineyards have a wide range of different soil types. In keeping with the area and the soils, the white wines - above all the Grüne Veltliner - form the foundation of the farm. While the Grüner Veltliner comes from different vineyards in a wide variety of styles, the Rieslings provide fruity counterpoints and are characterized by their enormous ageing potential. Pinot Blanc, Gelber Muskateller and the red wine variety Blauer Zweigelt form a high-quality addition to the range. Since 1988, the 23 hectares of vineyards and 27 hectares of arable land have been cultivated according to organic farming guidelines. Since 2019, our membership of Demeter Austria has also given expression to our inner attitude.

Our primary goal is to maintain the quality of the vineyard in the cellar and to preserve the independence of the wines by consciously "not intervening". We are convinced that the foundation for top wines is laid in the vineyard and that nothing more needs to be added in the cellar. The hygienic advantages of modern cellar technology in the form of modern steel tanks, steam cleaners and renewable energy from photovoltaics are beyond question. We don't want to go back to the 19th century.
