Weingut Hanke is a traditional winery that has been in existence since 1956 and specializes in the bottling of bouteille wines. The high quality of the wines is guaranteed by the continuous development and commitment of the Hanke family, who are the fifth generation to run the winery. Michael Hanke, who completed his training at the renowned Federal College for Viticulture and Fruit Growing in Klosterneuburg, took over the management of the winery in 2019. Fritz Hanke, who concentrates on working in the vineyard, carries out his work using strictly controlled and integrated plant protection methods. His focus is on targeted grape thinning and precise foliage work, as the quality of the wine begins in the vineyard. The combination of the father's many years of experience and the son's in-depth expertise leads to the production of high-quality, promising, fresh and finesse-rich wines.
