The Heinzl-Gettinger winery, located in Deinzendorf, is known for its variety and strong wines. On 25 hectares of land cultivated by the family, excellent wines thrive thanks to optimal soil and climatic conditions. An impressive selection of white wines, including six different Grüner Veltliners, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Neuburger, are vinified here. The red wines, such as Zweigelt, Merlot, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent, are also very popular. The passion for wine and consistent quality work have already earned the winery the title of "Winemaker of the Year" twice. Numerous other awards confirm the winery's successful path. The modern wine cellar with adjoining tasting room, completed in 2017, blends harmoniously into the hilly landscape. This is where modern technology meets many years of experience. The winery has been run by Elfriede and Sepp Heinzl for almost 30 years, supported by old winemakers Elfriede and Franz Gettinger and young winemaker Martin. The cooperation of three generations and the mix of experience and new knowledge are an essential part of the success.
