Weingut Kerner

The Kerner winery, located in the south-western Weinviertel on the border with Wagram, opens its doors to wine lovers every second Saturday (even calendar week) from 10 am to 2 pm. Visitors can enjoy a tasting and buy wines directly from the farm in the Kerner 'am Kirchboden' vinotheque. The winery, which is located in the Niederrußbach wine cellar lane at the foot of the vineyard, has existed since the 17th century and is run as a family business by Richard Kerner and his son Patrick. Traditional grape varieties, combined with modern, gentle cellar technology, are the focus of their work. The climatic conditions of the Weinviertel and the excellent soil structure make it possible to press exceptional wines in their entire range. The Kerner winery has been awarded Salon 19, Lower Austria Gold and AWC Gold, making it a popular destination for all wine fans.
