Weingut Martin Kohl

The Martin Kohl winery is a place characterized by the passion and commitment of its owner. His training with Austrian grandmasters such as Jurtschitsch and Hans Nittnaus laid the foundations for his expertise. His training was followed by a trip around the world, bringing back valuable know-how from America and New Zealand. Distinctive wines are produced with great motivation and the pursuit of quality. In the winery's cellar, tradition is skillfully combined with state-of-the-art methods and international experience. The wines, especially the Grüne Veltliner, reflect the dynamic and open personality of the winemaker. The talent of the dedicated young winemaker is also recognized internationally. In 2014, the "Kittl" single-vineyard Veltliner from vines over 50 years old won a gold medal at the International Wine Challenge in London and in 2013 the gold medal at the China Wine Award. It is to be expected that these awards will not be the last that the Martin Kohl winery receives.
