The nostalgic Wienerbruck-Josefsberg station is located on the mountain line along the beautiful Mariazell Railway. Parking spaces have been created for 40 vehicles in the adjoining Park & Ride facility.

Route information
- Regional trains along the Mariazell Railway in the direction of S. Pölten and Mariazell are served if required.
- The nearest bus stop is just a 5-minute walk away, providing connections to Lilienfeld, Mitterbach, Mariazell and Vienna.
- The regional express train "Ötscherbär" stops once a day to Mariazell and St. Pölten.

Ötscher-Tormäuer
From Wienerbruck-Josefsberg station, the Ötscher-Basis Nature Park Center and thus the gateway to the "Grand Canyon of Austria", the Ötschergräben, is about a 40-minute walk away. Whether you want to hike to the Lassing Falls in around 3 hours or plan a tour lasting several days with a stop and overnight stay in the Vorderötscher refuge - the impressions of the imposing gorges promise an impressive experience.
Wienerbruck power station
Not far from Wienerbruck-Josefsberg station is the Lassingstausee reservoir, which feeds the Wienerbruck power station. The power station was originally responsible for supplying the Mariazell railroad line. Although the railroad has been supplied by the Klangen converter station since 2014, the power plant building, which has been repeatedly renovated over the years, is still in operation today and generates three-phase current for the public grid.
Since the 2015 Provincial Exhibition, the Wienerbruck power plant has been open to visitors and can also be easily reached on foot in around 45 minutes from the Ötscher-Basis Nature Park Center.
