Two generations live for one thing: the production of high-quality wines

Fruity, elegant and harmonious wines - this is the best way to describe our range of wines. To keep it that way, two generations live for one thing, namely the production of high-quality wines.

The best conditions for this are our vineyards, which are mainly south-facing. Most of our vines grow on loess loam and clay soils, which are ideal for the production of fruity white wines. In order to achieve the best possible grape quality, an optimal leaf-fruit ratio is necessary, which we achieve through targeted manual work in the vineyard. It is also important to us that the grapes are kept cool in the cellar so that they can be processed gently and reductively.

The winery is run by winemaker Gerhard Zimmermann and, since June 2017, together with his son Paul, a graduate of the Higher Federal Institute and Federal Office for Wine and Fruit Growing. The junior boss focuses mainly on the vinification of fruity and classic white wines, with the production of Gelber Muskateller and Sauvignon Blanc in particular being among his greatest passions.
