Aschbach Markt

Aschbach-Markt is located in the middle of the hills between the Danube valley and Ybbs and is one of the oldest market towns in the district of Amstetten. The parish church of St. Martin, a three-aisled stepped church, and the houses on the market square with facades from the 17th, 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries are worth seeing in the municipality, which lies between Steyr and Amstetten.

For an active vacation in the Mostviertel, Aschbach has a swimming pool, a sports hall (with sauna, tennis court, etc.) and wonderful hiking and cycling trails. Aschbach also has good transport connections: The A1 Westautobahn highway is only a few minutes away.
