Hagenbrunn

The market town of Hagenbrunn is located very close to the city of Vienna. It comprises the villages of Hagenbrunn, Flandorf and the settlements of Veiglberg, Brennleiten, Wolfsbergen, Neues Wirtshaus and the industrial area.

Despite its proximity to the federal capital, the municipality has managed to retain its rural character. This has also resulted in the municipality enjoying a large influx of residents. The quiet location in the Weinviertel and the favorable transport connections are some of the reasons for the aforementioned population growth.

However, Hagenbrunn is primarily associated with winegrowing and wine taverns. The Hagenbrunn winegrowers produce excellent wines, which is documented by numerous national and international awards. Our wine taverns are equally famous for their culinary delights. Our well-developed hiking and cycling trails attract numerous visitors to our village every day.

Hagenbrunn also offers its guests a number of sights. Our cultural monument "my way" and the new wine hiking trail, which was opened in September 2019, deserve special mention.

Much has been done to beautify both Hagenbrunn and Flandorf in recent years. The village square, which was completed in 2017, is increasingly becoming a center for social and cultural encounters. The surrounding area with its housing estates is also very beautiful.

The industrial area on Brünnerstrasse is another important economic base for the municipality. The companies located here are of great importance to the market town of Hagenbrunn.

Don't miss out on getting to know and love Hagenbrunn in its many forms as a wine, culture, business or event location.
