Hochwolkersdorf is nestled in the district of Wiener Neustadt-Land at an altitude of 625 meters above sea level. Numerous sights make the municipality a place that is not only close to nature but also historically significant.

Birthplace of the 2nd Republic: the most important sights in Hochwolkersdorf
The 1945 Memorial Room vividly documents the events of April 1945 that led to the birth of the Second Republic. Dr. Karl Renner negotiated the future of Austria with the Soviet commanders right here on site. The museum displays around 200 valuable exhibits such as photos and documents.
