The Dirndl Valley - the adventure region on the Mariazell Railway

Kirchberg an der Pielach is the central town and shopping center as well as the sports and recreation center of the inner Pielach Valley. Situated at 372 m above sea level, the family-friendly Kirchberg can be reached from St. Pölten on the Mariazell Railway or by car via the B39 main road (approx. 25 km).

The 64 km² village with its 3,200 inhabitants is a real recreational area in the foothills of the Alps in summer and winter thanks to its wooded location. Well-run and well-kept guesthouses and private rooms, with a total of approx. 70 guest beds, cater for the well-being of guests. Of course, Kirchberg also offers the increasingly popular "vacation on a farm".
