The Reblaus-Express is a special culinary train that runs from Retz to Drosendorf. It is equipped with a wine tavern wagon that provides guests of all ages with wine tavern snacks and drinks.

Another "animal" tip is the bee nature trail at Langauer Bergwerksee: the interesting show apiary is home to numerous bee colonies as well as a wild bee stand. You can also take high-quality beekeeping products home with you: from honey to beeswax candles.

Fishing, swimming, camping: the water ABC of Langau

The beautiful Langau mining lake is located near Langau towards the Czech border. It is surrounded by the spacious Langau leisure park with lake restaurant. Here you can swim and splash around as well as play beach volleyball. Fish also feel at home here. Pike, perch and carp frolic in the water. A special offer for fishermen is "Catch & Release": under the term "Catch & Release", the caught fish are gently released.

And speaking of fishing: The Neubert family's Hessendorf fishing paradise is also located in the Langau region. The four ponds, measuring around 45,000 m² in total, are home to carp, catfish and pike, some of which are large.

Cultural tips: The war and peace memorial in front of the municipal office, the baroque St. John of Nepomuk column from 1728 and the parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary - with medieval and late Gothic architectural elements - are also worth a visit in Langau.
