Wullersdorf

The market town of Wullersdorf in the district of Hollabrunn is considered a friendly and fertile place - with the soft hills and gentle hollows typical of the Weinviertel. The good soil for arable farming and viticulture, together with extensive mixed forests, forms a charming cultural landscape - enriched by quiet, dreamy wine cellar lanes and many an attraction.

Wineries and Buschenschank (typical taverns) as well as guest rooms and a guesthouse offer regional delicacies and idyllic accommodation. Excursions and short breaks taste particularly good.

Wullersdorf and its villages: the most beautiful sights & excursion tips

The municipality comprises ten villages: Aschendorf, Grund, Hart, Hetzmannsdorf, Immendorf, Kalladorf, Maria Roggendorf, Oberstinkenbrunn, Schalladorf and Wullersdorf. The villages have a number of parish churches that are well worth a visit - such as the baroque parish church of St. Georg in Wullersdorf, which can be seen from afar, or the highly frequented pilgrimage church of Maria Roggendorf.

The Kalladorf Farmers' Museum displays old agricultural equipment, tools and everyday objects from 1900 to 1970. The three floors of the permanent exhibition are housed in a historic barn built around 1900.

A special open-air museum is the Immendorf circular ditch - a circular ditch from the Stone Age hidden in the ground. The adjacent circular ditch house is accessible all year round and provides information about the valuable cultural heritage. Further detailed information and a model of the circular ditch await visitors in the Wullersdorf History House.
