Treat yourself to a break from everyday life and visit us in the Waldviertel. The Blockheide is a nature park worth seeing, surrounded by natural monuments shaped by nature. And as we all know, fresh air makes you hungry.... we are happy to spoil you with high-quality regional dishes to round off your day. Our family business is always concerned about your well-being.

Our offer:
We offer you all-day hot meals with down-to-earth Waldviertel dishes, an extensive range of Waldviertel fish culture and other dishes that are sure to meet your expectations.
Our restaurant is divided into a cozy, rustic dining room, a bright winter garden and our quiet and shady garden. Bus groups are also very welcome.

We serve our local game specialties seasonally throughout the year and every October on our game days. We make sure that our game comes from the wild and exclusively from local hunting grounds, where it is hunted sustainably and in a manner appropriate to the game.

Since its opening in 1999, Latschenhütte Trinko has sourced its Waldviertel organic carp from Fischer-Ankern'sche Guts- und Forstverwaltung. For this reason, the Trinko family was honored on 18 November 2016 with the clay plaque of the Lower Austrian Pond Farmers' Association and was awarded the title "Carp Host".
