Inn at the crossroads

Description
The cordon bleu of Weinviertel straw-fed pork, the tender braised lamb shank or the corn-fed chicken ragout in Thai curry with rice and peas all have a common component: The ingredients all come from the Hollabrunn district and the surrounding area and have been refined in the kitchen of the inn at the crossroads in Guntersdorf. Manfred Hausgnost has been running a well-functioning inn here since 1993 and is increasingly focusing on regional partnerships. There is a professional at the stove here - you can see and taste it. The kitchen line has stood the test of time. It is down-to-earth and accessible to a diverse audience. The desserts include apricot, plum or curd cheese nougat dumplings with sugar crumbs and raspberry sauce as well as homemade sour cream ice cream on apricot roaster.
A culinary highlight at the crossroads
With a great deal of passion and a meticulous approach, the Gasthaus an der Kreuzung succeeds in maintaining its high quality over the long term. In most cases, the high expectations are even exceeded. The positive overall impression is underlined by the highly professional service staff, who are happy to provide detailed information about the regional wine selection. The patroness of the house, Martina Hausgnost, never loses the overview in the dining room, the extra room or the ballroom. Charming and unobtrusive, she reads guests' every wish from their lips. In the warmer months of the year, it is the pub garden that sets the scene with harmonious decorative elements and nature itself.
