Description

The portions at Gasthaus Pöhn in Nondorf are impressive, the baked Waldviertel carp is considered one of the best in the region. The succulent roast beef with potato dumplings, peaches and cranberries is legendary. The other protagonists on the menu are also regionally specific: The meat dumplings and poppy seed cake are deeply rooted in the DNA of the Waldviertel. Traditional inn with vacation apartment

Even before you enter the Gasthaus Pöhn, you will notice it: A visit to the family-run inn feels like coming home. In the summer months, guests are greeted in front of the house in the small but charming inn garden. There is a cozy atmosphere. The parlor, the extra room and the ballroom have many a story to tell. After all, the traditional inn in Nondorf in the district of Gmünd has been in existence for over 100 years. Some recipes from days gone by can still be found on the menu.
