Gasthaus Riedl-Schöner
Tavern / innThis business is excellent…
Description
The wine barrel is well placed - directly in front of the wine bar. The low-hanging vaulted ceiling characterizes the entrance area. Rustic, but very cozy. At Gasthaus Riedl-Schöner, special attention is paid to local wine culture. Host and sommelier Dietmar Schöner spoils guests with more than 100 different wines. His wife Ingrid is in charge of the kitchen. A well-rehearsed team that is now in its fourth generation of carrying the values of this charming inn to the outside world. In addition to the vinophile delights, it is the regional home cooking for which the inn is known. The fried Waldviertel char fillet on colorful ribbon noodles with celery and carrot julienne is delicious. Specialty weeks bring movement to the menu. The homemade Malakoff cake scores with individuality. Truly a taste experience.
Trend towards light cuisine
Guests are pampered in the secluded courtyard garden, in the Heurigen cellar or in the cozy Fichten-Stüberl. The hotel's own herb and vegetable garden is used as a source of natural produce. The promotion of regional agriculture is very important to the Riedl-Schöner family. A trend towards light cuisine can be seen in the pots and pans. This reveals new aromas and taste sensations. Meticulous attention is paid to the high quality of the products. This pays off. From simple menus for day-trippers to multi-course "Candle & Wine" dinners - Gasthaus Riedl-Schöner satisfies the cravings and wishes of a wide audience.
