Description

The name stands for tradition. For history. And for home-style cooking: the Schilling country inn "Zur Kaisereiche" has been family-owned for over 100 years. Run by Claudia and Anton Schilling, the inn in Neustift-Innermanzing in the district of St. Pölten has developed into a culinary institution. Proven family recipes are often reinterpreted. With changing theme weeks, the menu always offers new attractions. The protagonists are steak, fish, lamb and goose. The preparation is inspired by the region. Baked, roasted, braised, pâtés and homemade pastries are reminiscent of grandma's cooking. The zucchini cordon bleu with parsley potatoes and tartar sauce is also available as a vegetarian dish without ham. The kidney dumplings with brains and baked mushrooms represent original tavern cuisine.

Home cooking in a rural ambience

At Landgasthaus Schilling "Zur Kaisereiche", guests are treated to tried and tested home cooking all year round. In addition to a rich repertoire of typical local dishes, the rural and pleasant ambience is highly appreciated. With its conservatory, parlor and ballroom, the inn offers the ideal setting for larger events. In the summer months, culinary delights can also be enjoyed in the guest garden. The restaurant produces its own plum, elderberry and nut liqueurs. It's not just regular guests who stop off at the Landgasthaus, but also day-trippers. Usually after a hike to the Schöpfl, the highest mountain in the Vienna Woods at 893 meters.
