Gasthaus zur scharfen Kurve

Tavern / inn

Description

An inn that moves with the times
Located in the middle of numerous Excursion destinations such as Melk Abbey, Aggstein Ruins, Wachau, Krems, Göttweig Abbey and the provincial capital of St. Pölten, the tranquil village of Gansbach in the Dunkelsteinerwald is the perfect place to take a break.
The Knedelstorfer farming family has acquired the former inn and oldest house in Gansbach in the Dunkelsteinerwald and extensively revitalized it. The original charm of the village inn with its idyllic courtyard was retained and a festive hall was added.
Since 2014, guests have been treated to traditional Austrian cuisine with a special focus on meat and dairy products from the hotel's own farm and the Dunkelsteinerwald region.
