Everything is just right at the Gasthof zum goldenen Anker. The historic country inn in Hainburg is located directly on the blue Danube and boasts one of the most beautiful terraces in Lower Austria. A magnificent view that is only eclipsed by the refined cuisine. Landlady Michaela Brenner-Melchior and her team have been offering culinary delights since 1992. The organic beef comes from their own farm. The result is the specialty of the house: boiled young beef with potato pancakes and apple horseradish. From the "river and lake" category, the fried carp from Gut Dornau is a winner. Bite by bite, the inn's credo becomes reality: "Quality and standard are not a question of money, but of attitude."
