Landgasthaus Planer
Tavern / innThis business is excellent…
Description
In the kitchen of the Landgasthaus Planer in St. Margarethen, every move is perfect. The menu compositions, whether down-to-earth or creative, are always spot on. There are misses - if any - at the inn's own shooting range. The air rifle is aimed at the golden or, in this case, the black center. A nice detail on the side, but not intended to distract. It is the home-style cooking of landlord Patrick Planer that pampers guests in the heart of Lower Austria. Ingredients from the region and home play an important role in the food. In addition to original Austrian classics, the Landgasthaus delights with fish, beef and game dishes. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also offered a stage.
From snack station to country inn
The list of home-made products at Landgasthaus Planer seems endless: from bratwursts and Blunzen sausages to Swiss stone pine and blackthorn liqueur and Dirndl jam - the family business focuses on home-made products. The fresh and crunchy vegetables come from the blossoming inn garden. The history of the establishment goes back to 1973. The foundation stone was laid by a snack station, the rest is well known. Landgasthaus Planer gratefully accepts its role as a culinary ambassador for the St. Pölten district. In addition to the guest room, the inn offers a charming parlor and a banquet hall for over 300 people. The terrace is partly covered. In the basement there is a room with its own bar. It goes without saying that parties are often celebrated here.
