Landgasthof Bachlerhof

Description
Creating new cooking trends, but never losing sight of tradition - that's how something great is created in the long term. The recipe for success at Landgasthof Bachlerhof in Kematen an der Ybbs sounds trivial. But it is. After the major renovation in 2019, the landlord couple Maria and Stefan Bachler are still on the move. They have succeeded in creating new dimensions of taste without losing respect for what they have created. The inn continues to impress with its rustic style. The history of the house is told through family photos, the tiled stove and historical farming equipment. But the foundation of its success remains its own kitchen line. Great attention is paid to the quality of the ingredients. Strawberries, pork and geese come from their own farm.
Bachlerhof, the great all-rounder
The menu does indeed reveal delicious-sounding dishes. The Mostviertel mixed sheep's cheese with pickled radishes, sourdough bread potato chips and basil pesto is often ordered as a starter. As a main course, we recommend the pink roasted pork fillet wrapped in bacon on a woodland herbaceous grain risotto with peppers and runner beans. The curd mousse dumplings with a homemade strawberry sauce provide a fruity finish. Creative cuisine that appeals to a wide range of guests, from seasonal dishes of the day to elaborate surprise menus - the Bachlerhof caters to every taste.
