It is not only the vines that thrive magnificently in the vast hilly region between the Danube, March and Thaya rivers. It is the Weinviertel asparagus, onions, pumpkins and other precious fruits that Lower Austria's innkeepers like to integrate into their cuisine. A philosophy that is also practiced at the Retzerlandhof in Zellerndorf. Since 2015, landlord Harald Graf has been focusing on a regional and seasonal menu in his 4th generation family-run business. In addition to a fine selection of tavern classics, the perfectly prepared game specialties are sure to impress. The creamy venison goulash with homemade butter spaetzle and bacon beans is a testament to the art of cooking. The grilled venison fillet is served with potato gratin and red wine shallots. The curd cheese strudel and the pear, pumpkin and currant jams are tempting to the eye and palate.

We can also offer you a large selection of award-winning quality wines from our region. The traditional inn directly on the main road is particularly suitable for tour groups or seminars.
