On foot, with touring skis or on a mountain cart
The hut can be reached on foot, by chair lift and in winter also on touring skis. Two easy trails start from Mitterbach and Erlaufsee, while more demanding hikers prefer the tour through the Ötschergräben. There is a fourth very fast option for the descent: the mountain cart route is right next door.
