Traisnerhütte

Lodge / hut

Description

The 100-year-old Traisnerhütte sends visitors on a journey through time every year during the nostalgic ski race. But the magnificent panoramic view from the Schneeberg over the Rax to the Traunstein is also worth a visit on the other 364 days.

Where freedom knows no bounds.

At 1,313 m above sea level, the highest point in Lilienfeld, you float above the clouds on the viewing terrace of the Traisnerhütte. Fortunately, because high above the fog, you have a wonderful distant view from the Schneeberg to the Traunstein, while the Mostviertel lies at your feet.

In the footsteps of Zdarsky.

In winter, the Traisnerhütte is the starting point for ski tours, in summer for extended hikes. The 1-hour Mathias Zdarsky inventor's trail is ideal for beginners. The 2.5-hour panoramic trail takes a little longer and is a visual highlight thanks to the Muckenkogel, Schwarzwald and Klosteralm. The 2-hour waterfall trail leads along romantic forest paths, past natural phenomena.

For companies and families.

The cozy Traisnerhütte has been awarded the environmental seal of approval and offers space for 36 people in 5 cozy rooms and 3 spacious dormitories. Perfect for an unforgettable birthday, company or Christmas party, as the unique backdrop provides the perfect setting for any occasion.

Opening hours: May 1 to October 31 (closed on Mondays)
