Schlossgärtnerei Wartholz

Description

In the footsteps of the imperial couple: in the climatic health resort of Reichenau an der Rax, linger in the castle park of the Kaiservilla Wartholz and relax over a coffee in the historic ambience of the castle nursery.

Wartholz Castle was once the summer residence of Emperor Karl and Empress Zita and is now privately owned with its spacious park. Since the opening of the revitalized palace nursery as a garden center, a part of the imperial palace park is open to the public. From here, visitors can enjoy a wonderful view of the architecturally charming palace nursery and the imposing Rax Mountains.

The courtly ambience of the palace nursery can also be enjoyed in its elegant café as well as while shopping in the interior store. For culture enthusiasts, the castle nursery also offers regular readings in the Wartholzer Literatursalon as well as song recitals, concerts and summer cinema performances. The location is also a wonderful place to celebrate weddings.
