Heuriger Müllner

In the middle of the old town of Krems, on the picturesque Stadtgraben, lies the Heuriger Müllner - a wine tavern with historical charm and a warm atmosphere.

As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a rare setting: a restored vaulted cellar from the 13th and 14th centuries, which used to be a warehouse and press house, but now serves as an atmospheric stage for hours of enjoyment. A historic wine press from the 19th century - one of the largest preserved exhibits of its kind in Austria - sits enthroned above the vault.

In summer, the spacious guest garden with a view over the rooftops of the city invites you to linger. Whether in the shady outdoor seating area or in the cellar rooms - here you can enjoy a glass of wine or G'spritztes amidst historic walls.

In culinary terms, the Müllner offers a selection of classic and fine wine tavern delicacies: roast beef, carpaccio or game pâté are just as much a part of the repertoire as seasonal dishes - always with a focus on quality and regional character.The business is run by brothers Johann and Michael Müllner and is one of the top wine taverns in the Wachau / Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) region.
