Weingut Peter Trabauer

The Peter Trabauer winery, located in Stetteldorf on the southern slopes of the Wagram, cultivates around 5.5 hectares of vineyards. These are planted with a wide range of grape varieties, including Grüner Veltliner, Müller Thurgau, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Roter Veltliner, Gelber Muskateller, Blauburger, Zweigelt, Rösler and Rathay. The grapes mainly thrive on loess soil and the vineyards are cultivated in a natural way, whereby the yield is deliberately kept low in order to produce high-quality grape material.

In the winery's cellar, a combination of state-of-the-art technology and old traditions is used to bring the quality of the grapes into the bottle in the best possible way. Both steel tanks and new small oak barrels are used to store the wines. The Peter Trabauer winery is not only known for its excellent wines, but also for its wine tavern and events that offer an insight into the wine-growing culture of the region.
