Description

How can food become a sustainable experience? There are many answers to this question. The team at Wirtshaus Leopold in Lilienfeld in the Mostviertel region, which focuses on creative, local cuisine, knows one of them. The Leopold cultivates a sense of community and preserves traditions. The inn is the hub of a vibrant and up-and-coming region. "Good things take time and freshness" - according to this credo, the Leopold takes care of its guests' physical well-being. Throughout the year, the team led by head chef Jürgen Illmeyer serves traditional tavern classics that leave nothing to be desired. The beef soup with homemade meat strudel or the roasted fried chicken with potato and lamb's lettuce salad are popular. The classic tavern cuisine is also rethought here. The roast pork ravioli with Szeged cabbage and pork popcorn, for example, is a successful reinterpretation.

Pure joie de vivre at Leopold

Leopold's elaborate cuisine meets the taste of the guests - and the ambience is also inviting. The taproom, barn and parlor are furnished with dark solid wood. The pub garden blossoms in the summer months and encourages guests to linger. Music events and wine tastings round off the Leopold's offer perfectly.
