Historical sights in Thaya
In Thaya, important masonry witnesses document the centuries-long history of the town. Peigarten Castle, for example, features building elements from the Middle Ages as well as the 16th and 17th centuries. The Thaya parish church is also well worth a visit. The Gothic church with a Romanesque core houses valuable Stations of the Cross.
