Animal trips! Lower Austria’s Nature Parks and their animal inhabitants can be visited all year round: Animal lovers meet owls, wild boars and llamas on walks and hikes and at feeding times.

In Waldviertel, butterflies, lizards and praying mantises sun themselves on the rocking stones of the Blockheide Gmünd. In the Geras Nature Park the two resident lynxes are the main attraction, in addition to the wildlife enclosure, bird viewing point and fish pond.

Petting zoo and llama hikes – little nature fans can experience great adventures with animals on the Hohen Wand in the Viennese Alps. And in the Sparbach Nature Park wild boards roam free among deer, ducks and rabbits.
