Sights in Ludweis-Aigen

The late Baroque parish church of St. John the Baptist in Blumau an der Wild was first mentioned in documents as a parish in 1230. Aigen is home to the parish church of St. James the Baptist, which is essentially Gothic and was later rebuilt in the late Renaissance style.

A pillory on the street square in Blumau bears witness to the late 17th century, while another pillory from 1706 still stands in Ludweis today. Picturesque wayside shrines and chapels can also be found throughout the municipality. The Renaissance castle in Drösiedl is particularly worth seeing - with the Maierhof and Schüttkasten from the early 18th century in front of it.
