From cultivating to visiting, from tasting to discovering

Wine connoisseurs explore the artistry, culture, architecture and cuisine of Lower Austria’s wine from three different perspectives.

Taking the e-Bike for a picnic in the vineyard, wine tasting during cellar tours and vineyard visits, musical highlights at the “Kultur beim Winzer” (culture with viticulture) festival, and deep glimpses into the heart of wine making - the sheer variety of our wine travels through Lower Austria.

Whether ambling gently along the over 1,100 cellar lanes, appreciating a bite to eat in Heurigen, overindulging in the traditional inns or tasting the prize-winning cuisine gastropub culture "Wirtshauskultur" from the area.  But the wine is invariably the focal point in the biggest wine-growing region of Austria. Bloggers explore the secrets of wine, which don’t just shape the landscape and pioneering architecture of old press houses and new designs, but also set the tone for how art looks and sounds, as well as the look of the food in all its diverse glory.

From the grape’s beginnings and vintner’s trade, to cycling or hiking as well as obviously life filled with wine, the bloggers write in their wine diaries and take us with them on their personal journey through Lower Austria.
