The log cabin is situated on a sunny south-facing slope, gently nestled in the Erlauftal valley and surrounded by lush meadows. The Voglauer family's Brandalm is an excellent starting point for exploring the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park. It is located just a 15-minute walk from the Toreck Gorge, where the wild Erlauf forces its way through narrow gorges and the majestic Treffling Falls flow into the Erlauf.

The self-catering house offers space for a maximum of 10 people and is furnished in a contemporary and comfortable style. Special feature: media corner with books, board games, satellite TV, DVD player and PlayStation.

Leisure tips in summer: Hikes around the Ötscher, swimming in the Erlaufsee, mountain biking along the Mariazellerbahn, alpine climbing, scooter rides on the Gemeindealpe, Mariazell pilgrimage site, etc.

The log cabin is closed in winter.
