Located 800 meters above sea level, our inn is nestled in the heart of a landscape featuring stunning hiking and biking trails, mystical places of power, and mysterious castles and palaces. Vacationers in the Waldviertel can enjoy so much here—and all in peace and quiet. That’s because we’re nestled in the heart of nature, far away from traffic, noise, and everything else that’s part of stressful everyday life.
Our comfortable rooms feature light-colored wooden furniture made of maple, pine, or Swiss stone pine. Enjoy a stunning view of the countryside from every room. Our 10 Comfort Rooms are all non-smoking and can accommodate up to 28 guests. We’ve designed them to be new and modern, yet just as cozy. The fresh air, the tranquility, and the scent of wood will help you sleep wonderfully!
The Nature Rooms in our log cabin are furnished with pine wood. The atmosphere is simple and cozy. The building can accommodate up to 19 people and is the ideal lodging for cheerful groups and families who don’t want to compromise on comfort. (Maximum capacity for the entire inn: up to 45 people)
There’s also a children’s playground and a small soccer field, perfect for a mini-tournament. However, the best adventure playground is found in the small forests nearby. Plus, there are many interesting excursion destinations in the surrounding area.
The mountain air works up an appetite. Our breakfast buffet is plentiful and features products from our own farm, organic products from the region, and a wide variety of homemade jams and juices—enough to get even late sleepers out of bed early.
For groups, we also offer dinner (catering) by arrangement. Additionally , there’s our self-catering cabin, the WaldBar, which offers drinks, snacks, coffee, ice cream, and groceries. You’re also welcome to use our communal kitchen, our Weber gas grills, or the fire pit.
