Gasthof Haselberger ("Zum alten Richter") is a family-run business directly on the Danube in Marbach an der Donau, and combines traditional inn culture with comfortable overnight accommodation. The location is ideal for cyclists: the Danube cycle path runs right past the house and also offers a picturesque view of the surrounding countryside.
The guest rooms are spacious and equipped with lovingly selected wooden furniture, flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Many rooms have a balcony or terrace where you can enjoy the view of the Danube. Breakfast can be served directly in the room on request. Extra beds offer additional sleeping options, prices vary depending on the season.
The inn stands for regionally rooted cuisine and sustainability: freshly prepared home cooking is a specialty, including the famous roast pork from the wood-fired oven, brown trout from local waters and apricot dumplings, refined according to traditional Haselberger family recipes. The fresh ingredients come almost exclusively from the region and have been awarded the AMA Gastro Seal. This is accompanied by a selection of excellent wines from the Wachau region
