Description
The "Lodge Szilágyi" consists of three individual tipis, each of which has a floor area of 132 m². The tipis can be closed at any time in bad weather. If the temperatures are too cold in the fall and winter, the tents can be heated if necessary. The tents are equipped with a very comfortable double bed, lounge area, terrace (when the wings are open), W-Lan, minibar...;
The Lodge main house & apartment offers guests a modern and cozy vacation feeling, business customers as well as a co-working workplace for possible short trips - far away from the turbulent city life. After a quiet and restful night, a balanced breakfast is served with products from our own farm and from small producers in the region. The varied breakfast is served in the garden, in the lounge or in the conservatory - depending on the weather.
There are many romantic spots to enjoy and relax in the meadow with its old fruit trees. There are several bathing spots and opportunities directly on the Danube in front of the house.

Excursion destinations include Melk Abbey, Schallaburg Castle, the Aggstein castle ruins, Aggsbach Charterhouse, the wine taverns of the Wachau, the Dunkelsteinerwald forest, the Waldviertel and Mostviertel regions and Vienna (80 km away). The lodge is also the ideal starting point for hiking along the Way of St. James and the Welterbesteig Wachau - Wachau World Heritage Trail.

Public transportation:
Bus route 720 (Krems-Rossatz-Schönbühel-Melk) runs along the south bank of the Wachau between Krems and Melk railroad stations. All information and the timetable can be found at www.vor.at
