Not only among the loyal regulars. The menu at Gasthof zum Jägerwirt is creative and regional at the same time. Nomen est omen. Game dishes have a long tradition here. The sika game comes from the local Danube region and is hunted, processed and prepared in-house. Et voilà: The venison leg on a wild mushroom sauce with crunchy vegetables and croquettes is delicious. Roasted juicy pink. Just as it should be. The oven-braised venison stew with napkin dumplings and cranberries bears no comparison. Since Hannes Windhör took over his parents' inn in 2008, a (wild) line has been consistently pursued.
