Hainfelder Hütte ÖTK Schutzhaus

Description

The Hainfelder Huts is located at 924 m above sea level at the summit of the Kirchenberg on the border between Kleinzell and Hainfeld. The surrounding area is characterized by lush forests and individual clearings. The current refuge is the third to be built on this site. After small beginnings in 1915 and the first larger hut in 1925, the new Hainfeld hut was built in 2005.

The hut is built, owned and operated by the Hainfeld section of the Austrian Tourist Club. The hut is run by members of the club, who also prepare hot meals. Overnight stays only possible by prior arrangement!

Opening hours: all year round at weekends and on public holidays (and by prior arrangement)
