Family-run for 6 generations, the Hotel Drei Hasen welcomes you in the center of Mariazell. The art nouveau building is just 100 m from the world-famous basilica and 50 m from the cable car.
Regional game and fish dishes are served in the restaurant, which also has a well-stocked wine & whisky bar. The roof terrace garden offers an impressive view of the mountains and the basilica.
The Via Sacra host has single, twin and multi-bed rooms. The Hotel Drei Hasen also has a sauna, a steam bath, a library, 2 meeting rooms for small groups and a dining room that can accommodate up to 250 people. Larger groups can order three choice menus online at a precise time in advance, which prevents long waiting times. Bicycles can be stored securely in the cellar.
Tip: All members of the Kroneis family are available as experts for the Traisental cycle route and as Via Sacra experts. Overnight guests receive a welcome with Mariazell gingerbread and Mariazell stomach liqueur on arrival.
Public transportation - easy & convenient
Travel in comfort with the Mariazell Railway. It is approx. 1 km on foot from Mariazell train station to your accommodation. Your hosts can organize a transfer from the train station directly to your accommodation on request.
