If you want to enjoy freshly prepared, high-quality food with a fantastic view, the Julius-Seitner-Hut is the right place for you. It is located at the summit of the Eisenstein at 1,185 m between Pielachtal and Traisental and is easily accessible by public transport. Whether alone or together, in the sun or rain, for a short excursion or an overnight stay - the hut is always worth a visit. Birthday and Christmas parties, company events, wedding celebrations, bachelor parties, etc... are given a very special flair by the unique ambience.
For overnight guests there are two four-bed rooms and 18 sleeping places in twin bunks at the dormitory. The "breakfast on the mountain" with hot and cold food and drinks rounds off a visit to the Julius-Seitner-Hut.
Opening hours: The hut is open all year round. Tuesday and Wednesday are rest days. In September, December (closed over the Christmas holidays) and February, the hut is open without a day off.
