The Kaiserkogel Hut is located above the rooftops of the provincial capital of St. Pölten, in the foothills of the Alps, in the eco-village of Eschenau, at an altitude of 716 m, surrounded by meadows and forests. The hut is run as a non-smoking hut and offers down-to-earth ecological hut cuisine. The Kaiserkogel hut belongs to the Eschenau-St. Pölten section of the ÖTK and is run by Mrs. Bärbel Riegler.
The beautiful view to the north over the provincial capital to the Jauerling is unique. To the east and south you can marvel at the impressive foothills of the Alps from Peilstein to the "father mountain" Ötscher. A dormitory with 18 beds and 3 rooms with 7 beds invite you to stay overnight, 3 dining rooms for 100 people and 50 outdoor seats on the south-facing terrace to linger.
