Our guesthouse is located on the edge of the Blockheide/Malerwinkel Nature Park and the Lainsitzniederung Nature Reserve, which also includes the water buffalo pasture.
Right behind the guesthouse, you’ll find the main hiking trail leading to the center of the nature park, where there’s an observation tower. A 10-minute walk will take you to the historic city center of Gmünd. It’s also a 10-minute drive to the Sole-Felsen-Bad. Discounted admission tickets are available for our guests.
This idyllic house was built in 1967 with the intention of operating a guesthouse. However, the owner at the time did not carry out the plan. In the spring of 2024, all rooms were renovated and brought up to date.
Our rooms are equipped with smart TVs, Wi-Fi, a shower, toilet, and hair dryer, as well as comfortable furniture. Two of our five rooms also feature a spacious balcony with a view of the countryside. Another room is perfect for families thanks to a separate children’s room.
Private parking spaces and bicycle storage are available to our guests free of charge.
We also have our own electric vehicle charging station for our guests.
