For over a century, the former school convent between the Vienna Woods and the Mostviertel region was home to the sisters of the Order of the Daughters of Divine Love.
In keeping with this tradition, today's "Refugium Hochstrass", as the property has been called since its revitalization in 2016, is a place of retreat and relaxation, but also of further education and enjoyment. With great attention to detail, Anja and Claus Ziegler have brought the history of the house to life for visitors. Hotel and seminar guests in search of inspiration will find 24 single and 14 double rooms, two suites and six seminar rooms with panoramic views.
The area, characterized by forest and orchards, invites you to hike, ride and relax with your soul. The former monastery chapel offers space for inner contemplation, weddings, celebrations and cultural events of all kinds.
