For many decades, the Taverne am Rinn (which translates as "inn by the stream") was a popular place for people from the Palfau to meet, relax and enjoy a good glass of Cider, schnapps or beer. Today, the Pechhacker-Taxacher host family looks after vacation guests with typical Mostviertel hospitality.
The tavern is rustic and comfortably furnished with wooden furniture and there are no televisions in the rooms - in the Rinntaverne you can enjoy the power of peace and quiet in the hectic digital age.
On the "Bacherl side" of the house there is a "Salettl" - an open garden house for pleasant hours outdoors with a view of the peaks of the Gesäuse. In front of it, the house fountain gurgles with fresh spring water, surrounded by colorful flowers. Perfect for a pleasant, natural family vacation in the countryside.
