Description
The "Schiffsmeisterhaus" hotel & restaurant is located in the middle of the unique Danube landscape of the Mostviertel region - in the picturesque market town of Ardagger, between Grein and Amstetten, almost directly on the banks of the Danube. Built back in the 16th century, the building long served as an important trading hub for shipping and thus for the entire surrounding region; since 2001 - following a comprehensive renovation of the entire building - it has been continuously adapted and modernized.
The Schiffsmeisterhaus is a meeting place for cozy get-togethers in the inn, exclusive dining in the restaurant, rest and relaxation in the hotel or as a "refreshment stop" for the numerous cyclists from all over Austria along the Danube - a stop at the Schiffsmeisterhaus always pays off. And our motto "Eat, Drink & Sleep" was not chosen at random - we offer our guests the perfect place to leave everyday life behind for a while!
