Description

The Türnitzer Huts is the oldest hut in the Lower Austrian Prealps and is located on the summit of the Türnitzer Högers. Wonderful views in all directions are guaranteed at 1,372 m. To the northwest, the view sweeps over Göttweig Abbey to the Waldviertel, to the north to the Tulln Basin, to the southeast you can see Schneeberg, Rax and Schneealpe and to the west the entire Gesäuse mountains and the Tote Gebirge.

There are 3 dormitories with a total of 28 beds available for overnight guests at the Alpenverein hut. The family-friendly hut also has a sun terrace, but there are no shower facilities.
