Zdarsky-Hütte

Named after skiing pioneer Mathias Zdarsky, the Zdarsky hut at 1,082 m in the Türnitz Alps is a popular hiking destination and is often visited by school classes. The hut can be easily reached via the NATURerleben Wancurasteig theme trail.

The rare variety of flowers around the hut makes a stop-off a special experience, and there is a playground for children. The Naturfreunde hut can accommodate 37 overnight guests.

Opening hours: all year round at weekends and on public holidays, for groups also on weekdays on request

Tour tip: Traisenberg - Gschwendt
