In Emmersdorf, at the western entrance to the Wachau World Heritage Site, the campground offers an idyllic experience on the left bank of the Danube. Visitors can stroll through floodplains and villages, explore the countryside by bike, or take historical excursions. The Danube Lake at the Luberegg recreation area and the Danube River itself are perfect for refreshing swims.
There are 47 campsites—11 of which are air-conditioned—for trailers or RVs, as well as 20 tent sites.
In addition, there are 5 air-conditioned wine barrel huts with a direct view of the Danube and Melk Abbey. The campsites are equipped with electricity and fresh water, ensuring optimal comfort. Dogs are very welcome here!
For a relaxing start to the day, we offer a bread roll delivery service. Our well-maintained restroom facilities ensure a pleasant and hygienic experience. For RVs, there is a service station for water and waste disposal, as well as a washer and dryer available.
Our kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, electric kettle, and refrigerator for guests’ use. A barbecue area and two pavilions invite you to relax and unwind. And for our younger guests, we have a playground.
Local restaurants serve regional cuisine. Multilingual staff are on hand, including speakers of Romanian, English, Spanish, Greek, and Italian.
