The Veltlinerland campsite is located in the heart of the Veltlinerland, right by the bathing pond in Poysdorf - a meeting place for wine lovers, nature lovers and all those who want to actively experience the Weinviertel. Whether with a motorhome, caravan or tent: the site offers an idyllic location and numerous leisure activities. Hiking and cycling trails in the immediate vicinity invite you to explore the rolling hills and the famous wine cellar lanes. If you want to indulge in culinary delights, stop off at one of the cozy wine taverns or enjoy a tasting at one of the wine taverns along the Veltlinerland Wine Experience Route.
Poysdorf is considered the wine town of Austria and knows how to celebrate festivals: from the Wine Spring and the Wine Parade at Whitsun to the district wine festival in September and open cellar doors, there is always something going on here. The leisure facilities at the campsite also offer a wide range of options with a large pond, mini golf, ball games area, skate park and beach volleyball court. For a relaxing day trip, the Laa an der Thaya thermal spa is just 20 kilometers away. Dogs are welcome at the campsite, but are not allowed in the pond. If you want to experience the world of wine even more intensively, visit the "Vino Versum" with its wine town museum, Schlumberger sparkling wine world and tractor hikes.
